Who we are

Pluton provides booking pages, scheduling tools and business dashboards for service businesses. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to bookings@joinpluton.com.

Information we process

Depending on how you use Pluton, we process:

• Owner account, business profile, service and availability information.
• Booking information such as customer names, contact details, selected services, addresses, notes, appointment times and booking statuses.
• Feedback, notification preferences and technical information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
• Google Calendar information described in the dedicated section below, but only after an owner chooses to connect a Google account.

How we use information

We use this information to provide booking and scheduling features, authenticate users, send requested notifications, prevent conflicting appointments, provide support, maintain security and improve Pluton. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Google Calendar data

Google Calendar connection is optional. When an owner connects it, Pluton uses the granted access only to provide the calendar features visible in the owner dashboard:

• Read the calendar list to identify the connected primary calendar.
• Request free and busy intervals so customer booking slots do not overlap busy Google Calendar time. Pluton does not request the titles or descriptions of existing events for this check.
• Create, update and remove Pluton booking events. These events can include appointment time, service, customer name and contact details, address, booking notes and a link back to the Pluton dashboard.

Pluton stores the connected calendar identifier, encrypted OAuth tokens and identifiers linking Pluton bookings to the Google events it created. Free and busy query results are used to calculate availability and are not stored as a permanent copy of the calendar.

Disconnecting Google Calendar removes the stored connection credentials and Pluton event links from our database and removes synced Pluton events from the connected calendar. Access can also be revoked from the Google Account permissions page.

Pluton's use of information received from Google Workspace APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

Storage, security and retention

We use access controls and other reasonable technical measures to protect information. Google OAuth tokens are encrypted before storage. Information is kept only for as long as needed to provide Pluton, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security. Owners can disconnect Google Calendar independently or delete their Pluton account from the dashboard.

Sharing and service providers

We disclose information only to infrastructure and communication providers needed to operate Pluton, when required by law, or with the user's direction or consent. Providers may process information only for the services they supply to Pluton. We do not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers.

Your choices

You can update business information, disconnect Google Calendar, revoke Google access, or delete your Pluton account. To request access, correction or deletion of other information, contact bookings@joinpluton.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Pluton changes. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes affecting connected Google data will be communicated before that data is used in a new way.
